Building Better Vendor Experiences

Project Highlight

Client:
Lancaster County Wholesale Mall
My Role:
Web Developer | Office Coordinator | Technical Lead | Event Marketing
Timeframe:
October 31, 2012 - February 28, 2019
Overview

A B2B wholesale market (retail environment) with over 80 vendors needing better tools, creative consistency, and smoother coordination between staff, owners, and sellers. I stepped into a web designer role to start and worked my way into multi-faceted roles—supporting everything from website development to managing staff operations, internal workflow design, and full-scale event promotions.

Strategy & Execution

Digital Integration

Led the full upgrade of outdated systems, implementing a POS + inventory + website integration. This included training for staff and owners and streamlining product management.

Creative Marketing Support

Photographed products, designed vendor-specific promotional flyers, and built social/email campaigns supporting seasonal events like anniversary celebrations, customer appreciation months, and open houses.

Event Planning & Promotion

Organized 7+ vendor-focused events annually. Designed signage, invitations, and directional graphics. Partnered with team members and vendors to ensure booths, communication, and in-warehouse experiences were cohesive and brand-forward.
