Rebranding & Marketing Ranck
Project Highlight
Client:
Ranck Plumbing, Heating, AC & Excavation
Overview
At Ranck, word-of-mouth has always been our strongest marketing tool—but in today’s digital world, that trust needed a brand presence to match. Over the past four years, I’ve led the transformation of Ranck’s in-house marketing—building a consistent visual identity, expanding our reach, and reinforcing the values customers already knew us for. From developing branding guidelines and managing a six-figure marketing budget to overseeing a full website redesign and producing all creative assets across platforms, working closely with the CEO, I’ve helped evolve how Ranck shows up—online, in print, and in our community.

The Challenge
Ranck’s brand lacked cohesion, visibility, and digital strategy. There were no branding guidelines in place, the website was outdated, and marketing efforts were fragmented.
Design Approach
-
Developed a comprehensive brand guide to standardize visuals across all media.
-
Redesigned the company logo to reflect service offerings (added excavation, service icons).
-
Established cohesive color schemes, typography, and graphic styles across digital and print.
-
Produced all advertising graphics in-house (social, web, print, promotional).

Strategic Execution
-
Collaborated with external agency on SEO and website UX redesign.
-
Directed digital ad campaigns and vendor/manufacturers Co-Op campaigns (Google, Bing, WGAL, Yelp).
-
Created branded SWAG for employee gifts and community giveaways.
-
Designed event materials, signage, and sponsorship assets.
-
Oversaw monthly analytics, tracking conversions, reach, and engagement.

Ranck's website had become outdated and no longer aligned with its brand or customer experience goals.
Performance Impact
May the 4th Be with You (Social Media)
To celebrate Star Wars Day, I designed a playful, branded post that tied Ranck’s plumbing, heating, and air services into a galaxy far, far away. The creative ran across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, using humor and pop culture to boost visibility and engagement.
